Woe is me, I'm sick and grumpy. Unfortunately my knight in shining armour is sick too, but we've worked out this really good routine of laying about together on the couch watching endless M*A*S*H episodes and taking it in turns to whinge about how sick we feel. It's nice.

So I finally snapped. After several years now at uni, I've realised that it's killing my passion and I don't want to do it anymore. I had my crisis of faith, I had my tantrum, I refused to go back there.

Now that I've calmed down, I had an epiphany. I subconsciously knew all along it would come to this. So here goes...
Mum, I owe you a collosal apology. For the past two decades I have used your career as a basis for unending jokes. It was funny, hilarious even, until i discovered that (gosh it hurts to say) I might... just... maybe... a little... want to be....a....well... I want to be a librarian too...

THERE! I said it! Laugh at me! Make fun of my decision to give up big bucks in the Graphic Design or Photography Industry and exchange for shelving and a tendency to think in Dewey Decimal! Piddle yourselves as you realise this means I actually have to spend another six freaking years obtaining a degree in Applied Sciences. I hate you all!!!
