So yah... past 2 weeks = Awesome. Mainly due to going to gigs in Canberra and Wagga. Spending a few extra days in Wagga was too much fun, lol. With the drinking and the Wii sports and the Invader Zim and the peoples. I managed to have so much fun I broke a toe

It went the most beautiful shade of purple. Just a bit lighter than the colour of this text actually! So then I was in Sydney doing photography for my aunts wedding. I'll most likely put up a shot or two from that.
So yeah I'm off to Wagga again this weekend. Can't keep me away.
So heres some lovely "distraction from reality" questions to occupy my time until I leave for Waggs McWaggs.
Tw0 - Kay - Seben
1. What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before?
Liked the city I lived in, went to lots of gigs, clints challenge, ate and entire sweet chili twister without dying of chili poisoning
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Last year I actually put in a big pessimistic journal entry about my New Years resolution and had a self righteous rant about it. Then I preceded to break it any chance I could. Not in ways that would directly hurt other people...just to myself. I've learned that this was a mistake and I could have saved myself alot of pain all year if I'd been honest with myself. So this year instead of trying not to lie, I'm just gonna try and be honest with myself.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
I can't think of anyone, no.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
No...but guess I'm still feeling the effects of a few people who passed last year.
5. What countries did you visit?
goddamnit I never left this one
6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?

Sunday the 21st of October. Festival of the Dead. Most fun I'd had in a fucking long time. Start of a new point of view I guess.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Getting and doing well at my job. I mean sure, I work at a salad bar... but I have fun!
9. What was your biggest failure?
Feeling as though I was simply settling, rather than being happy in my decisions. That and letting my license expire. I suck.
.10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Broke my toe!!! dammit and it still hurts.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
My sax, as much as I whine about it not being a tenor. My Mac...how sexy *strokes mac*
12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
Nikisha. What a champ you've been to me this year. I owe you like a gazillion drinks for that one.
13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
A couple of people. I'd rather not mention names but I hope they feel guilty.

Money spending! Making excuses.
20. How did you spend Christmas?

St. Patrick's Day party at the uni. Danced alot with Mr. Murfilicious
... drank... ate a kebab
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
hmmm... it gets complicated when it comes to this. If it was different, then I wouldn't be where I am now...and I can't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2007?
Whatever is cleanest that I pull off my floor lol
34. What kept you sane?
Working kept me out and about rather than being stuck out at uni 24/7. Having some great people to talk to helped too.
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
the whole Edward Cullen vs. Jacob Black fight kept my imagination busy (if you don't know these people, shame on you...read "Twilight" by Stephenie Meyer! )
36. What political issue stirred you the most?
The whole election thing kept political stuff in my mind alot...but apart from that I don't think I care that much...
37. Who did you miss?
Alot of people, both those I should miss...and a couple I'd be better to forget but miss anyway. Among the good ones, Madi, Nikisha, Murf...
38. Who was the best new person you met?
Half the people I know now lol
39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2007.
Job = money. Money = booze. Booze = funtimes.
40. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year.
LYRIC MONTAGE TIME!!
And I hope when you think of me years down the line
You can't find one good thing to say
And I'd hope that if I found the strength to walk out
You'd stay the hell out of my way
Could it be that everything goes 'round by chance? (chance?
Or only one way that it was always meant to be (be)
You kill me, you always know the perfect thing to say (hey hey, hey hey)
I know what I should do, but I just can't walk away
You'll sit alone forever
If you wait for the right time
What are you hoping for?
I'm here I'm now I'm ready
Way to flood my headspace (I'd kill for you)
I know I kept you waiting (I'd wait for you)
Oh. I'd kill for you
Devious Comments
i've learnt a lot, cried a lot, laughed a lot, cared a lot. i've stopped hating what i cant change and started changing what i can.
i've made decisions, change my mind countless times, i've had plans made and changed for me. i've drunk too much, smoked too much
its been a long year.
